Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
Our deepest sympathies. Howard was the principal at Northwest Christian during many of the years our girls were enrolled there. He was a fine man, showing his love for the Lord enthusiastically in every area of his life. We appreciated that.

I met Mr.Hatton at North West Christian school when I was in 6th/7th grade. I will always remember him as my favorite science teacher, the man who listened well to his students and the best principal ever. For the first time ever I actually enjoyed that science when he taught it.
I admired his strong character, his energy, his love for God, that he was a pilot, and a man a many hidden talents. I remember one day he told me years after I had graduated from North West when I was in college going to school for film that he worked on the famous horror movie The Blob! He encouraged me to follow Gods path for me and was always excited to hear updates on my life when our paths would cross. I admired Mr.Hatton very much. That man definitely made a powerful positive impression on me when I young and I am so grateful to have known him.
Sending love and condolences to the family.

I remember being tested for entry by Mr. Hatton as a little second grade kid coming into NWCS, being intimidated by his importance but comforted by his kindness! Thank you Mrs. Hatton for becoming a friend to our family along with Mr. Hatton and being willing to share days on Lake George with a bunch of bickering little kids. I'm sure we made some of your memories of the lake and the boat slightly less pleasant, but you gave us fantastic memories! I still remember you teaching us that an open bottle of vanilla extract could remedy a stinky outhouse, among other camping tips. I am so sorry for your loss and will pray that you are flooded with many comforting memories until Jesus makes all things new and you see him again.

Rest peacefully Mr. Hatton - you were such a fine teacher and good person - I had you in 6th grade for Science at Sparta Alpine School - I have thought if you often over the years as the teachers who impact your life tend to stay in your heart. I am sorry I never got the opportunity to tell you - I hope you realized how many lives you touched -

So many memories of our families in the four years we lived there. "Mommy, my principal goes to our church!". Camping, barbecues, swimming... the rooms full of model airplanes! I was convinced you were a giant; then I got taller, you got shorter, but you were still a giant.
Vi, Tom, Don, David, Linda, and family, we are praying for you!
