I first met this dear lady about 20 years ago when I was doing some renovation work at her home. It was a somewhat lengthy project and she often offered me a nice home cooked dinner at the end of the day. The meal was good, the conversation was even better. She came across as very unassuming yet possessed a depth of insight and simple wit and wisdom that is too rare today. Agnes spoke with a wonderful British accent which she utterly denied having. It was part of her charm. Her grace will be remembered and missed by many.
