There are so many great memories from spending time with the Varian’s when I was younger. I have been working with children for over twenty years now, and I have to tell you that it takes a special person like Jack to have put up with my crazy impulsive butt all those years and still be kind enough to welcome me back again and again. :) My thoughts are with the Varian family during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to your family. Hoping you find peace in the wonderful memories and the outpouring of love from your family and friends. I spent a summer working with Jack and will always remember his intelligence and incredible sense of humor. As I grew older (possibly smarter), I also realized that he subtly mentored the car full of young men that he traveled with. I believe that we all became a little wiser and less naive through his influence.

We have lived directly across the street from Jack for 15 years but have known him for many more. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer a tool and help in any way he could. He suffered with the Jets, rooted for Lenape and would never miss Sunday softball. To our grandchildren, with a hand full of candy, he was Mr. Jack. We loved him, will miss him and never forget him. Keep watch over the children and God speed Mr. Jack.
