DeWitt’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Not a day goes by that we don't think of you. We miss you so much and everything about you. You were a great friend and we're so thankful to have had you in our lives for so long. You were so brave in your fight and you fought hard. We know you didn't want to give in. Hoping you're at peace and reunited with your family and friends and are now giving them all the entertainment that we all loved, enjoyed and will forever miss.

One of the best guys I've ever known. He'd do just about anything for just about anyone. I was always amazed at how he could diagnose a furnace problem over the phone from behind his bar, with a beer in his hand! I'm going to miss him, his wisecracks, stories, knowledge of all things mechanical (cars, bikes, furnaces, gadget-ie antiques), Thirsty Thursdays, and just sitting talking with him over a beer.
