Diane, Judy, Sandra and Ralph,
I am so sorry for your loss of one of the greatest ladies and certainly the best "Godmother" I've ever known!!! Though because of the distances and just life, we never were able to see each other as much as I would have liked. Your mom was one of the sweetest and lively people, I've ever known, it was always fun, warm and loving to be with her and your dad, too. They treated everybody like royalty and served the best to all. My husband and I actually model our hospitality desires after theirs. We spent some time with them in our early marriage before we moved to the shore and will always cherish them with laughter and warmth. She always made me feel special, as being my godmother,..... and the absolutely magnificent christening outfit was worn by one of my sons and grandsons. A more generous, loving person would be very hard to find these days. She was best friends with my mom, Ann Muzzo, when they were young and was my mom's maid of honor. There is no life I would rather celebrate than hers. I am truly saddened that I cannot get up there to celebrate her well lived life and personally share my condolences. My responsibilities here right now are just impossible to pass off. But my heart and most certainly my deepest prayers are with all of you. I pray you will always be blessed with the greatest memories of her and enjoy reminiscing of all your times together. I pray you will all always be close to each other and to your faith. Marie was always family to me. I practically lived "down Jefferson" as we called Jefferson Lumber when I was a kid. And I spent many hours of laughing and eating (and drinking) in her kitchen on James Drive. You never knew who was going to stop by. Whoever it was, Marie would pull another bottle of wine from the refrigerator (which we called the Bermuda Triangle). And we never knew exactly when we left because all the clocks in the house were set at different times. No one was ever kinder to all her "children" and, later "grandchildren." My kids still talk about heading to her house after trick or treating every Halloween because "we have to show Aunt Marie our costumes." I always had a car full of their friends and she always had a dollar for each of them. Miss you, Aunt Marie. Here's to you, a toast of "S and C."

My hearts goes out to Diane, Judy , Sandra, Ralph and their families. Mrs. Q was vivacious, loving, and generous. She raised a wonderful family. My high school years were so much richer because of her! My heart is full . I am also very sorry for Aunt Mimi as she lost her best friend.
