Obituary of Lindsey A. Savage

Lindsey Savage formerly of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at her home in Reeders, Pa. surrounded by her loving family. She was 48 years old. Lindsey was born on August 4, 1971 in Morristown, NJ.

Lindsey will be remembered as a tireless volunteer who unselfishly donated her time and energy as a longtime member of the Hopatcong Ambulance Squad and was a past member of the Hopatcong Hills Fire Co. #4 Ladies' Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Hopatcong High School Class of 1990 where she played softball and field hockey. Lindsey worked at St. Clare's, Dover NJ for many years as a dialysis technician and equipment technician before leaving New Jersey and relocating to Pennsylvania. Most importantly, Lindsey loved spending time with her devoted family.

Lindsey is survived by her step-mother, Kathleen Savage, her two brothers, Michael Yanko and his wife, Stacy and Jayce Savage, sister, Laura Yanko, niece, Alexa Yanko and nephew, Jonathan Yanko. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and her four-legged relatives, Daisy and Belle.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Jesse N. Savage in 2006.

Lindsey's Life Celebration will include a private memorial service.

All services were entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
