To Richards Family;
I just called W&C Fab devices on pricing for another job and Bill told me the sad news. I am truly,truly shocked. You all have my most sincerest heartfelt condolences on the loss of a very great super friendly man. I will truly miss all the conversations we had over the twenty years. We never met in person but our countless conversations gave me a real good flavor of the type of person he was, a good man. After we got over the business talk,our conversations lasted a lot longer on the cars we had and just some life's antics. In the back of my mind I was planning to stop in on a trip if I was reasonably close but now I regret that I didn't make a dedicated trip there.
Upon hearing of his passing on the phone, it was hard to hold back the tears and as I am writing this it is hard.
We lost a good person, a great person, I do trust he is in a better place.
RIP Rich, RIP My friend!!

This is the last photo I took of my Uncle Richie at our Labor Day Bbq in Sept. He was in good spirits.little did we know it was the last time we'd see him.I'm so glad I took this,it's how I will remember him.He will be missed by many he was the best Uncle I could have ever asked for.To my Aunt Jessie and my cousins Rich and Bob I love you all.my heart goes out to you all,may he rest in peace that he so deserves.Love ,Inysa,Terry and Boys

Rich and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Jessie and the entire Koppinger family. Rich's kindness and help during my Rich's medical crisis was so deeply appreciated and will never be forgotten. Over the last 26 years, our many "mailbox meetings" with Rich hollerin' "Hey, Bob! (his nickname for me, not knowing it really IS my nickname, lol) led us to quite a few lively conversations. He always made me laugh and was a genuinely good guy.
