Obituary of Margaret Helen Prudden

Margaret Helen Prudden, formerly of Lake Hopatcong, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. She was 97 years old. Margaret was born on December 18, 1922 in Montclair, NJ to the late Halsey George and the late Helen Mowry (Danforth) Prudden. A former member of the Lake Hopatcong Environmental Commission, Margaret owned and operated My Dog Companion Dog School in Randolph, NJ. She resided in Lake Hopatcong and New York City. A talented artist, she operated a pottery shop in Montclair, NJ and was once a greeting card designer for American Greetings. Margaret was also a fencing enthusiast. Margaret was the family historian. She is survived by several cherished nieces and nephews. Margaret's Life Celebration will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
