Other than the guys who worked with us, I don’t think anyone knew my uncle Jerry like my brother and I did. Working on Saturday’s always gave us enough money to go play the ponies at the Meadowland or Yonkers to meet up with the rest of our uncles on both sides of the family. And like my cousin Kim said, my uncle was all about family, and it was always good to have him around for holidays and family events. He was like a father when my father passed away, but best of all, he was the biggest ball breaker you ever met, and not for anything, that was a good thing that many of us will all miss. He was a good guy, knew a lot about a lot of things, but was always a good guy from the old school. Something to be said about that, and someone that will be missed by many.
