Aunt Shirley has been an important part of my life since I was in high school and started dating John Stocker. She and I have always had the most wonderful relationship. She was just the sweetest and kindest person you could ever meet. I'm forever grateful that I had her in my life for so many years, but I already terribly miss being able to see her, again.

I've known Aunt Shirley since I was a young girl many years ago. She was one of the most loving, warm, and positive people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. You couldn't help but just want to hug her every time you saw her. We'll miss you Aunt Shirley. You were loved by so many and your bright light will be missed by us all.

she was the love of Herb Messinger's life who is my dad. I think it was when Shirley was just a teenager that she met my dad for the first time in Landing. Her brother Joe and my dad along with other Canfield's played ball together and that was the beginning of their friendship. I loved her like a mom - when my dad was sick she sat with him and talked about the "good ol days". She was a beautiful lady
