Obituary of Lois N. Sharrott

Lois N. Sharrott of Hopatcong NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at The Hospice of the VNA of Northern NJ in Dover, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years old. Lois was born on August 18, 1929 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late William and the late Mabel (Lynum) Nelson. Lois was a local dinner theater actress and she also was employed at Warner Lambert in Whippany, NJ. She resided in Mountain Lakes, NJ and Lancaster, Pa before moving to Hopatcong 4 ½ years ago. Lois was a professional puppeteer and co-owned & operated Ginger Bread Puppets for many years and worked at the Rainbow Theater in Lancaster, Pa. and Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton, NJ. She enjoyed acting and traveling but most importantly, she cherished her time with her family and friends. Lois is survived by her son, Stephen Sharrott, her daughter, Susan Gaffney, her grandsons, Justin Gaffney and Ryan Gaffney and her great-granddaughters, Nicole and Sadie All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ and will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
