I remember my first meeting with “Popa Dan” as he cruised up the street in his golf cart and a big smile on his face. He was always the person to look at for your best interest. I’ll miss seeing him and Rufus outside when I’m taking my dog walks. Sending love to Lois and entire family, may you find peace in your memories - Popa Dan will be missed.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Dan for over 20 years since we met and discovered we were both PA boys and lifelong Steelers fans. That meeting was at a local cruise night for classic cars and evolved into a lifelong relationship of cruise nights, car shows and best of all, breakfast sessions where we continually solved all of the worlds problems right up to the last time I saw him. He had a heart of gold and would never hesitate to offer assistance no matter what the problem was. He was also the only Santa Claus that my granddaughter would go to without crying. He will be sorely missed but I'm sure those in heaven will be glad to have the real Santa in their presence!!! God bless you brother and RIP!!

Dad... rest in peace. I love you and always have. So glad we got to see you in July. I still remember those hugs that morning.I know you were in a hurry to get back home...but for some reason I wanted to keep holding you that morning and not let go. Little did I know then that in just three short months you would depart this earth. I am so glad I have that memory of you. I will cherish that memory forever, it reminded me of when we were little and every weekend we would go to the beach in Texas and you would wash our feet off in the water from the sand and carry us into the car...!!!! I always wanted to have more close times like that with you. I hope you know how much I appreciated and loved you. I never stopped trying to express that and I feel we ran out of time, I was not ready to see you go....but I will see you again someday! Santa Dan was an amazing, caring and sweet man! He played Santa at a few different events for our Car dealership a few years back when we were still in business. The news of his passing saddens myself, my family but also our old employees as well. Dan will be so greatly missed! Sending our love and prayers to his family. I got to know Dan in 1996 and were co-workers up until his departure in 2011. Lots of stories, and what mostly mattered in life was a good heart which Dan possessed. Condolences to his beautiful wife Lois, and his entire family. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dan's family and his best buddy Rufus - Only came to know Dan recently as a newcomer to his breakfast club at Adams. Turns out we have had a mutual friend for many years - Meatball Esposito. 'Brother' Dan was a storyteller extraordinaire. I liked his recollection about PA and his cars. He sure liked playing Santa and had the natural hair and beard to pass tugging-muster of near-doubting Thomas's and Thomasina's.
Only wish I had met him earlier.
