Dear Mrs. Tacinelli (Miss Imperato), I’m assuming you were my 3rd grade teacher at Roosevelt School in New Rochelle. But first of all, my condolences of the loss of your husband. I remember when you changed your name from Miss I to Mrs. T, so that was around 1964/5? I think of you from time to time. I remember a very young woman, open, friendly, encouraging. Possibly new to teaching? I made many friends in third grade that have lasted. About me: 66. Living in Greenwich village. I work in video production as a director (www.realprod.com) (perhaps you let me run the slide projector-the start of my career)am married with 2 kids and 1 grandson (so far). I’ve been fortunate in life and love, all I’m sure because of the grounding of family and schooling. I write to say thank you. Teaching is a calling and I appreciate you were called to my school.
