Our deepest sympathies to Tommy, Jimmy, BettyAnne , Peggy and all the extended Flinn family. We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Jack. What a fine man and dear friend he was to us. We have so many fond memories of him. One such memory, was when Jack turned up at JFK airport with a “Welcome to America” greeting with a bottle of champagne under his arm. As young emigrants full of hope and trepidation on starting our professional careers, this ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ welcome certainly put us on the right track. Our friendship continued and we enjoyed many weekends in his house with Betty and loved meeting all the Flinn family. He and Betty were so generous and welcoming to us and we enjoyed their visits every year when they came to Ireland. May he now Rest in Peace with his beloved Betty.
