Rick, although, I never had the pleasure of meeting you physically, I feel that there is a profound connection here. Like you, I am a former priest, I was ordained in 1999 for the Diocese of Allentown. I left the priesthood to marry a woman. As a result, I have 2 step children a son who is in his second year at the United States Naval Academy, and a daughter who is a sophomore at Bethlehem Catholic High School. I've been friendly with the Quartarerro family while I was assigned to their parish. To your wife Amy, I am deeply sorry for your loss, and please accept my prayers for the repose of his soul.
