Nana was a wonderful grandma and great-grandma to my children. She was always there with a word of encouragement during hard times. She had certainly lived through a few herself over 99 years! Every holiday and birthday brought a card and/or letter from Nana without fail. For many years we looked forward to the boxes of mysterious items that would unfailingly arrive, something about a "tricky tray." :-) Of course, Avon was a favorite gift item, too. We always got a chuckle over Nana's boxes. One included three back scrubbers and two windshield scrapers. Especially when the kids were little, they loved nothing more than getting a "Nana box" in the mail. Many visits over the years have given us some wonderful memories.
