I was in middle school when I first met Betty. I had no idea that one day she would become my future mother in law. I was introduced to her by my best friend Joanie Weston, who called her Aunt Bet. Therefore, so did I. We would sit at her kitchen table, drink tea, smoke cigarettes and talk about boys, and our very complicated lives at that age. She would listen and give advice. We laughed so much. Gram would be there, and when she chimed in, we all but wet our pants. Thank you for the memories Aunt Bet. Thank you for giving me your son, and for being one of the few hearts I completely trusted with my sons. You will always be thought of with love ❤️
