When I was a kid we were asked to make a Father’s day card.
Of course, the front of the card said: “my Hero”.
The first part of the card showed my Dad taking a nap.
With 7 kids I would be taking a nap too.
The 2nd page was my dad mowing the lawn. Dad always took pride in keeping his home, anything he owned looking great!
The 3rd page was my dad golfing. Dad loved golfing all his life.
And the 4th page was all of us watching planes taking off. If you knew my dad-you knew he loved aircraft.
The simple things in life, made my hero, my dad Happy.
I will miss my Dad and all the joy he brought to my life, and I will especially miss our Saturday phone calls.
