The words do not come easy as we extend our deepest sympathy to each of you with the passing of your Dad. Mike was a good person and great Dad and grandfather. We are so glad that he got a chance to spend his last days with his beloved family. Kelly, Kathleen, and Brian you should all be very proud of the things you did to make your Dad comfortable. Mike, Dan, and Anne Marie you were all there for Mike and your families. We know Mike loved each of you. Mike was so lucky to have and be able to hold each of his beautiful grandchildren; Lily, Brendan, and Jacob. Patty you were always a great wife and friend to Mike you should feel good about the wonderful family that you raised together. Larry it is comforting to know that you are there for Patty and the kids. I know God will continue to watch over and bless each of you in this time of sorrow. Mike, May you rest in peace. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. We love you.
Love,
Uncle Tom and Aunt Ann

Mike, I'll never forget all the laughs and fun times you, my brother Jimmy and I had at Margies on Congress St. in Troy. So many things like your hearty laugh, your willingness to help a friend or relative like the dinner you cooked for all of us when your mother-in-law passed on, your unflinching love for your family especially Brian, Kelly, and Kathleen, your country and friends, I will always remember. So Mike, as the Irish would say,"May the road rise up before you, the wind be always at your back, the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we ALL MEET AGAIN may God hold you in the palm of his hand.( if He can get you off the golf course!!!)"

Mike was a wonderful brother-in-law, always willing to help me out when things were rough. I can remember how many times Mike & Patty came to my rescue and I will always be grateful.
I remember his lunches with Kelly and then later Kathleen, a litlle father daughter time. He was very proud of his children and loved them dearly. Proud to be a verteran that served his country honorably. Thre are so many beautiful memories I have and will treasure with the Glynn family. You will be missed.

My deep condolences, Dear Kathleen & Dan, Kelly & Mike, and Brian & Anne Marie and your children. Mike's spirit of animated debate without holding a grudge with those of us holding differing opinons will be missed. He was a man who respected and preserved freedom and the rights to freedom of speech. Thank you, Mike, for your example. God bless you & I pray your untimely departure from this earth means you will begin a greater work from Heaven.

Agent Orange has taken another brother of the Vietnam war. Welcome home Michael T Glynn my brother rest in peace SEMPER FIDELS MARINES. To the Glynn Family My deepest sympathy.
People ask why Vietnam Veterans seems to be a "Breed Unto Themselves." Most of us went to Vietnam individually and/or came home the same way. We came home to disdain and diversion and the only people we could depend on were each other.
We were the only ones we could trust and the only ones who understood. Even today as many Vietnam Veterans struggle with their disabilities from illnesses that didn't appear until years after their discharges they find that the Government is simply waiting for them to die to avoid granting awards for these disabilities. So we continue to seek out one another and develop support through this camaraderie. Vietnam Veterans are the very definition of Brotherhood!
