Obituary of Michael T. Glynn

Michael T. Glynn passed away December 24, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in East Orange. He was 64. Born and raised in Troy, NY, Michael maintained a dual residency in Lafayette, NJ and Leesville, SC. Michael was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving in the Vietnam War from 1966-1969. He was the recipient of the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with one star, one Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnamese Service Medal with one star, the Vietnamese Campaign Medal with device, the President Unit Citation and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He was a member of American Legion Post #423 of Oak Ridge, NJ and American Legion Post #166 of Goose Creek, SC. Michael also loved to play golf and worked as a butcher for Pathmark Food Stores. Devoted father of Kelly Rahill and husband, Michael, Brian Glynn and wife Anne Marie and Kathleen Wypych and husband, Daniel, Adoring grandfather of Lillian and Brendan Rahill and Jacob Wypych, dearest brother of Lee Flynn and wife, Barbara, Marilyn Schrader, Mary Slocum and husband, James, Cathy Brennan and husband, Daniel and Eileen Gear and husband, Richard and beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his lifetime friend Patricia Sweet.
