He always displayed a contagious smile and contributed much to the quality of life in Hopatcong. Many fond memories of Jim throughout the years. His support for the men and women in and around the police department was so encouraging and appreciated. Civic minded, conscientious resident who truly cared about his community and its citizens. My sincere condolences to family.

Bette, So sorry to learn of Jimmy's passing. He was one of a kind. His personality was electric, magnetic. Jimmy was my go to guy when I managed the Hopatcong Water Department. I remember fondly and always with a smile our nights together at the Upper Deck comedy nights. My sincerest condolences to you, his true love, and your family. Ron Karl

Bette, I was so very Sad to hear that Jimmy had passed away, & send my Deepest Condolences on Your Loss. I was so Glad that I was able to Reunite with Both of You at Our Class of '64''s 55th Reunion at Sunday Brunch. I Wish I could've been with you Sunday, October 2nd for the 'Celebration of his Life'~

Jimmy was a great guy I’ll miss all his electrical guidance as well as I’ll miss him out on the lake having a good time. No one could tell a joke like Jimmy could your face will be sore from laughing after a half hour with him. I know Betty was his best friend and he was her best friend, it’s gonna be hard for her so we should all try to be there for her as much as possible. Rest in peace Jimmy from Ron and Andrea.
