Obituary of Brenda Sue Agamie

Brenda Sue Agamie, 68, of the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township, passed away at home on Tuesday January 10, 2023 after a two year battle with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Brenda was surrounded by her loving family and people closest to her.

Born in Lake Hopatcong on July 9, 1954 to the late George and Dorothy (Livingston) Robinson, Brenda was a fourth generation Lake Hopatcong resident. She worked in various fields including ski instructor, boat business, waitress, Junior Accountant VPLC, Executive Recruiter and Proprietor of Espanong Market and Café for 18 years.

Brenda's many hobbies and life enjoyments included traveling all over the world, hosting & cooking for large gatherings at her home, boating, sailing, water skiing and snow skiing, especially on visits to Aspen, CO to ski and be with her daughter. She also enjoyed music, hiking, golfing, trivia nights and was a frequent winner at the Mt. Airy Casino penny slots. Brenda was a member of the Lake Hopatcong Women's Auxiliary and recently joined the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club.

Brenda's greatest joys were her children, whom she raised as a single mother, and her granddaughters.

Brenda was predeceased by her husband of 23 years Mark Fisch in 2022 and her sister Betty Jo Robinson in 2014.

Survivors include her children Justin Agamie and his girlfriend Ilana Kurtin, Jordan Gaston and her husband Peter, two granddaughters Wren & Quinn Gaston, brother John Robinson and his wife Esther, nephew Tucker Robinson, niece Jessica Herndon and her husband Tucker, and grandnephews Morgan, Johnny & Tanner Herndon.

Brenda's services were conducted privately and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
