Obituary of Beryl L. Meckert

Beryl L. "Birdie" Meckert of Parsippany (previously of Hopatcong) passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

She was 63.

Born on May 11, 1959 in Oneonta New York to the late Edward and the late Kathryn (Bryden) Nault, she was a visiting nurse with Wellcare in Newark.

Birdie enjoyed gardening, concerts, sewing, volunteering and boating on Lake Hopatcong.

Beloved wife of the late John Meckert. Devoted mother of Amanda Meckert-Bui and Lindsay Soules. Loving grandmother of Kinsley Soules. Dear sister of the late Phillip Nault and the late Grace Reynolds.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Birdie's Life Celebration on Saturday April 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. A Prayer Service will begin at 6:30PM.

Cremation will be private.
