Karen was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. We went to MH together and were in colorguard together. May she rest in peace with my sister Valerie Johnson and with Susan who was a great friend to my sister. These
three angels are smiling down upon us.
I remember meeting Karen for the first time in 1971 in Grace Simon’s beautiful Lordship home. I was dating Jim Simon and was always nervous meeting his relatives, but with Karen it was instantaneous friendship as it was from then on. Karen is always the kindest, warmest person in the room. We sat reminiscing so many times at family events both happy and
sad and I was in awe of how she remembered everything, things I had forgotten long ago. I was hoping to see her once again at the our family reunion picnic… she will be so missed by the Simon family … we all loved her so. L
