Obituary of Gregory Edward Von Ohlen

Gregory Edward Von Ohlen ,of Mount Arlington, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at home in Mount Arlington.

He was 63 years old.

Born in Riveredge to the late Thomas and the late Catherine (Donahue) Von Ohlen, he lived in Atlantic Beach, New York prior to moving to Mount Arlington in 1997.

A Project Manager with Stericycle of New Jersey, Gregory was an avid fresh and salt water fisherman and an avid Giants, Yankee, Devils, and Rolling Stones fan.

Beloved husband of Linda Passarella. Devoted father of Andrew and Catherine Von Ohlen. Dear brother of Thomas, Jr., Jack, Michael, Richard, and Stephen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Gregory’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, October 4 at 10:30AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Lake Hopatcong. All are invited to meet directly at church Wednesday morning.

Cremation will be private.
