Obituary of Janet M. Larceri

Janet M. Larceri, 80, of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

Born in Teanceck, NJ on May 13, 1943 to the late Julius and the late Martha (Lehmkuhl) Emmerling, Janet resided in Nutley, NJ prior to moving to Stanhope in 1973.

Janet was a long-time member and former employee at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Stanhope, NJ. She played organ, rang the choir bells, sang in the choir and worked in the church's daycare center.

Janet's hobbies included Reading, attending services at church and taking walks. Her greatest joys were spending time with family and her many friends.

Janet was predeceased by her husband; Joseph and brother; Eric Emmerling.

Survivors include her son; Angelo Larceri, daughter; Antoinette Larceri, brothers Harry Emmerling and David Emmerling and many nieces and nephews.

Janet's Life Celebration will include visiting on Monday March 18 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral prayer service will be offered on Tuesday March 19 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends may begin gathering at the funeral home at 9:30 Tuesday morning. Janet will be entombed with her late husband; Joseph at Union Cemetery Mausoleum, Hackettstown, NJ.
