Donny was the best! I was proud to be his friend while we were stationed at Kanehoe Bay Marine Corps Air Station. I mean he was the best - of friends, devoted father, loving husband, and the best example of a United States Marine. As did everyone around him, I knew Donny to be loyal, honest, hard working, thoughtful, dependable, strong, and plainly a heck of a good guy. I am sure he is in a better place so my condolences are for his family who surely must grieve his passing, oohrah Donny!

I admired his commitment to family and Country. We had a lot of fun as kids and Thanksgiving will always hold a special memory in my heart. Those days at Aunt Loretta's house were classic family holiday celebrations. God bless and watch over his family during this very difficult time. It is hard to imagine our family dynamic without you.
