Many years have passed since Judy and I were schoolmates. We met recently because she remained active with our graduating class reunions. I am deeply saddened by her passing. The young people who had her as their teacher were very fortunate and I'm sure she made a lasting impression on them. My sincere condolences to all her family members for your loss.

Jerry, Nicole, Danielle--I am so very sorry to hear of Judys passing. I have fond memories of her as we watched our children attend school, play soccer and also through our church. She was a special lady with a beautiful smile who was so proud of and loved her family dearly. I am sorry that I did not know in time to attend the services. My heartfelt sympathy to Judy's family. Aside from being classmates in 1957 we are sisters in kind with our ministries in church, volunteer work with cancer, love of theater and family, I know how much her generous kind heart will be missed by all. God has provided a special place for her as she awaits all of you. Open your minds and hearts and God will show you the ways she is always with you.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Judy's passing. My sister Barbara and I grew up, across the street from Irene, Judy, Bill and Bob, on Essex Avenue, in Bloomfield. Wonderful memories. I especially enjoyed our "reunion" at Pal's Cabin when the Essex Ave "girls" got together for a walk down memory lane. As adults we still had our special connection. My heart and prayers go out to all of Judy's family. Love, Pat

Mrs. Vandervoort,
It was always such a pleasure learning from you and your husband. I imagine the halls of Parsippany High are nothing like they used to be. Know you will be extremely missed. This world has learned a wonderful person and a terrific teacher. I hope you find continued peace and happiness.

Coach Vander Voort,
I am very sorry for your loss.
I am a PHS alum, class of 1974.
I regret I never had a class with you or your wife, but my friends who did had only very nice things to say about you both. I remember her as a fantastic lady!
As for myself, I am now a HS, business and marketing teacher, and football coach.
My deepest condolences.
Sincerely,
Scott Russell

Jerry,
Bette and I remember the years of playing bridge all night until none of us wanted to go to work the next day. We remember the wonderful cook that Judy was and the meals that we enjoyed together. Bette and I tried on several occasions to duplicate her pasta fagioli but could not come close. We will miss her and will think fondly of the times we all enjoyed together.
