Obituary of Judith Vander Voort

Judith Vander Voort, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. She was 72 years old. Born in Glen Ridge and growing up in Bloomfield, she lived in Hopatcong for 40 years before moving to Little Egg Harbor in August of 2011. Judith was an English teacher at Parsippany High School for 33 years until retiring in 2002. She was a devout and active parishioner of St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong where, among other things, she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of Bible Study. She was also a founding member of the Red Hat Society and volunteered her time at St. Clare's/Dover General Hospital and at the Morristown Community Theater. Besides her volunteer work and church involvement, she enjoyed playing golf and babysitting her granddaughter and was an amazing cook. She made her family her first priority always. Beloved wife of Gerard. Loving mother of Nicole Donnelly and her husband David of Little Silver, NJ and Danielle Fournier and her husband Chris of Manchester, NH. Dear sister of William Jr. Carlucci and his wife Elaine and Robert Carlucci and his wife Patty and Irene DiVincenzo. Cherished grandmother of Cate and Conor Donnelly. Daughter of the late William Sr. and Angeline Carlucci.
