Georgette, Nicholas and Gina, I have difficulty expressing my thoughts upon hearing of Nick's passing. I hold you all in my prayers during this difficult time. Shortly after they started taking lessons, I remember dropping them off at your house, and they would just walk in without knocking. The first time I saw them do that, I was mortified, and I told them that was rude. They said "Nick said we don't have to knock". When I corrected them that they should be calling him Mr. Marchitto, they again told me I was wrong and that he said they should call him Nick. I think they were 6 at the time. But in that moment, I truly understood the impact he had on them. They didn't see him only as a piano teacher, they saw him as a friend. Such a kind and warm man, he gave my daughters the gift of music and a love for the piano that they will take with them forever. We will always cherish the 10 years that he spent with them, not only as their teacher, but also as their friend. We will hold you in our prayers during this time and always. God bless you all. To the Marchitto Family,
I was so very saddened to hear of Nick's passing. Not sure if you remember me, but I was one of Nick's piano students (probably 20 years ago now). I have such fond memories of our lessons together and of visiting with all of you. What a wonderful man with an amazing family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Nick, To My Hero, My Best Friend,Husband and most of all Father of our Children. Nick you were always my rock when I needed someone to lean on, throughout our years together. We were there for one another through thick and thin. I will cherish these last 7 weeks together where we had the time to laugh, cry & reminish together. You fought the battle to the bitter end & wouldn't give up. You truly are our Hero. Now you are at a better place without pain and I know that Heaven has a Beautiful Angel. Nicholas, Gina & I know you will be watching over us from up above. I will miss you, but always know that I will Love you forever!

Say it's not true, say it today…when I open my eyes, will it all go away…
How I wish it would go away…it's so hard to face the truth that you aren't here anymore, Nicholas. I miss you so much my dear friend...will miss the messages we shared about music and family. When you talked about your wonderful wife, enthusing about her cooking skills or how you wished to see your lovely daughter and son more often...I could feel so much love for them coming through every word of you. I will miss your beautiful voice, your songs and videos. Music connects people around the world, and you were an excellent musician, I am grateful to have known you…
You were so brave, Nicholas. Some would say that you lost your fight to your disease, but I'll say your loving Heavenly Daddy carried your tired body home. You lost nothing. You left us broken-hearted, yet you let us see how strength can be perfected in weakness.
My last letter to you didn't reach you anymore on its long way across the ocean. The decision of your family to bury it with you brought me to tears, means a lot to me. My guardian angel is with you now, although it was too late.
I'm deeply saddened and all in tears. Although we never met in person, I found in you a special friend, so kind, so altruistic, so modest. Hope to meet you in heaven one day. Light a candle for you now my dear friend. R. I. P. Nicholas, I will never forget you.
Your German friend Petra & family
My sincere heartfelt condolences go out to the whole family; you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Somewhere in my dream tonight,
I'll see you standing there.
You will look at me with a smile,
"Life is'nt always fair". I say,. you were chosen.
He preciously hand picked you,
Thats all I can say, For He truley must have needed a new angel. Then asked you to join him above.
You see I have always had a angel on earth his name was my brother Nick.
When I think of you as gone I become breathless, You stood like a mighty Oak Tree but through a bad storm your leaves blew away and still you stood there. The storm continued snapping and pulling at your bark. You became weaker
and weaker but still stood. Until the final moment you could no longer hold into the ground. Your roots will always be here stretched in the earth just like the mighty Oak Tree.
I Love You, Your sister Rosemarie

Dearest brother in law Nick it is so difficult for me to grasp you are not with us any longer you were courageous and strong these last few months and to me you are a man of no equal in the way you carried out your life. and I look to you as a true brother.
We lost a man who was a terrific husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, but most of all we lost a wonderful and talented individual.
You are a compassionate, caring, giving man and a wonderful musician and singer.
I will miss our times together and conversations on many subjects, especially the remolding of our homes when we always laughed about how the wives were all ways pushing new projects.
I am so happy that you were able to sing and all those wonderful songs and especially the one you dedicated to Michael.
Your qualities as a person should be the standard we all live by, the calmness of your voice and approach to life, your collectiveness, sincerity and never having a harsh word about anyone are an inspiration to me and all who knew you.
You accepted all that life gave you and lived as a gracious and gentle man.
You are with the lord now in eternal peace and I know you will be watching over all of us just like you did in life.
With love Uncle Jack as you affectingly always called me.

Dear Aunt Georgette, You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are very sorry to hear this sad news. On the anniversary of the day he came into the world he leaves the physical part BUT he will forever remain in the minds of all who knew him. His fight is done and he is now in a place where he can be free and watch over all whom he loves.
Remember the happy times and all the love he brought to the family. If we can do anything for you, please let us know.
