Brue and Lori, so sorry to hear the news about Michael. I know it's been a long time since we have seen each other, but we remember him is scouting and wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers.
Don't know why God chooses the best to go ahead of us... we will all meet again.

Forgive me but I do not know this young man but I was drawn to this web-site when I came accross his obituary in the Star Ledger. I read all of the entries in the guestbook and had tears in my eyes for a person I've never met. I am sure he was very special and a terrible loss for his family and friends. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies and thoughts. God bless you all!

Right up to the end Mike was thinking about others and joking to try to ease our pain. He showed an inner strenth that was far above anything I have ever seen. The day before he passed he told the docter he wanted an autopsy so that they could use the tissue to help other people so that others would not die waiting on a diagnois. He also wished that we all celebrate his accomplishments rather than mourn his loss. Michael I am so proud of you. I will try to live up to the example you have set and learn to see the good in us all. Rest in Peace. Love Dad

Mike , you and I had so much in common because of the difficulties you and I both faced in school and in scouts and at one point you and I were great friends. You are one of the kindest people I have got to know, you had a huge heart just like your mom, and you got your love for humor and history from your dad. Your going to be missed bud but never forgotten, make sure you keep my mom company up there and save a spot and a beer for me.

Michael, You weren't just one of the boys in our Boy Scout troop. You were very special to me. You taught me patience, you taught me determination, you taught me dedication, you taught an old lady more than you'll ever know. You got me into teaching disability awareness for Scouting and I want to thank you for that. I'm so proud that you got your Eagle Scout award, graduated college and got your drivers license like every other regular kid. I thank you also for introducing me to your family. They are wonderful, wonderful people. I love you and will always miss you. Say hi to God for me and tell him I can't wait to meet him although I'll take as much time on this Earth as he will allot me. I will see you there someday. God Bless you Michael for being you. We are so saddened in the passing of Michael. May the wonderful memories you have help heal your hearts. Those we love don't go away - They walk beside us every day - Unseen, unheard, but always near - Still loved, still missed and Very Dear. Our dear Lord has a reason for what he does, sometimes we just don't know why. I can reassure you that he chooses his Angels carefully and he definitely has a wonderful one. Our prayers are with you during this most difficult time. MICHAEL, You have entered into eternal life and you will be remembered. May you rest in peace.

I was so proud of Mike as he progressed through Centenary. I have never seen a student change so much in 4 years. He worked so hard to be a success. Suddenly he found the key to his door - the trip to New Orleans with the students one January to help rebuild. He came back a different person. To me it seemed that he had found himself there by helping others. He was a proud man when he graduated in May of this year. We would have missed his anyway, but now we grieve his passing at the beginning of his new life after Centenary.
May God bless him and keep him. We , like He, may say "well done good and faithful servant".
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and those of us at Centenary who will miss him greatly.
