Obituary of Francis P. Locascio

Francis P. Locascio of Hopatcong passed away Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Kendall Baptist Hospital in Miami Florida. He was 60. Born in Bronx NY he lived in Morristown before moving to Hopatcong in 1982. Francis was a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force serving in the Vietnam War prior to his retirement in 2010. He also retired as a Police Officer from the Morristown Police Department. He recently was a security officer with 50 State Security in Miami Fl. Beloved husband of Edith (nee: Ahlmgren) Locascio. Devoted father of Jessie Locascio of Hopatcong, Josh Moskowitz of lake Hopatcong and Jamie Moskowitz and his wife Angela of Oklahoma City, OK. Dear brother of Joseph Locascio of Tuson, AZ. Cherished grandfather of 4. He was a member of the American Legion Post 278 in Stanhope, New Jersey State PBA and he also enjoyed smoking cigars, boating, NY Mets and the NY Giants.
