Very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I got to know him when we brought our steam locomotives (425 & 2102) to Hoboken in the 1980's and again in the 1990's when I was involved in the 614 excursions between Hoboken & Port Jervis. He always had some great stories from his days on the railroad. And now another link to the steam era is gone. You will be missed Paul.

My family and I are very saddened by the news of Paul's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this most difficult time.
I have many fond memories of Paul. He had an effortless ability to bring a smile to my face whenever I was in his presence. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies. . . . and prayers!
Paul was a great locomotive engineer. . . .and oh we had some great experiences working together at Dover Yard!
I think the most wonderful thing I will treasure in my memories about Paul is love for steam locomotives. . .he was the Engineer on #425 excursions we ran at NJT and the incredible photo runby's he did at Mountain Lakes on that Sunday Afternoon, they should always be remembered, along with his support of the #765 excursion to Port Jervis during the Garden State NRHS convention in 1988!
Fondest Memories. . . .
