Something brought you to my mind today. A tiny thing - I can't say for sure why, but it brought me a smile. And in this time, i this place, a smile is as precious a thing as one can wish for, so I offer you my thanks as I remember you.

Karen,
Although I didn't know your father, I just wanted to express my condolences on his loss.
I hope you'll allow me to share a comforting thought from the scriptures with you that I have shared with others on these occassions. Perhaps it's familiar to you.
It's found in the last book of the Bible, Revelation chapter 21 verses 3 and 4.
It says "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
Until that day arrives, we still mourn the loss of those we love.
I would like to share other comforting thoughts with you. I have a booklet entitled "When Someone You Love Dies". I'd be happy to send it to you if you like. Or you can simply contact me by email if you prefer.
My thoughts are with you.
