I remember Laura Avenia well. She was a highly competent administrative assistant to County College of Morris' Nursing program. She was entrusted with many complex tasks by the original head and founder of the program, who was Agnes Ann Clarke. Those of us who were young attendees and graduates of the nursing program are truly indebted to her. She took great pride in all she did there. I remember how proud she was when the department issued her a lovely necklace with a pendant identical to our nursing graduate pins. May she rest in Heavenly peace.
Mr. Avenia, Gina, Lauren, and family, please accept my condolences. I have many fond memories of Mrs. Avenia. She is in my prayers as are all of you during this difficult time.
