Obituary of Laura M. Avenia

Laura M. (nee: Zampini) Avenia of Succasunna passed away at the age of 77 on Saturday December 18, 2010 at Merry Heart Care Center, Succasunna after an extended illness. Born in Yonkers NY, she lived in Peekskill, NY before moving to Succasunna in 1974. Prior to her retirement, she was an administrative assistant for over 30 years with the County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. Laura enjoyed reading and traveling. Her greatest love was spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Beloved wife of Raul, Devoted mother of Lauren M. Miller and her husband Gordon, and Gina M. Talmadge and her husband Ron. Loving grandmother of Nicole, Thomas, Christopher, Scott and Kevin. Dear sister of Palmira Fischer, and predeceased by sister Caroline Fischer. She is also survived by her many nieces. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
