Obituary of Stanley H. Kaner

Stanley H. Kaner of Ledgewood died Thursday December 9, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville. He was 80. Born in Potsdam NY, he was raised in Canada and Bronx NY He lived in Queens NY before moving to Ledgewood in 1996 to be closer to his grandchildren. Prior to his retirement he was a Vice-President of manufacturing with Barclay Industries in Lodi. An Army veteran, he enjoyed golfing, reading novels and opera. As a young boy growing up in Canada he enjoyed playing hockey and was an avid hockey and golf fan. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee: Minutello). Devoted father of Susan Marciano, Carolyn Stechishin, Janet Panzera, Jean Hoffman, Diana LaFemina-Rosa and Ann Marie LaFemina-Adams. Dear grandfather/great grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, mentor and a well-respected friend and member of the Roxbury community. Those who knew him will greatly miss his emotional support, advice, anecdotes, and great sense of humor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the entombment of ashes on Tuesday December 14 at 11:30AM sharp at the Chapel located at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown NJ.
