I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of one of Rickel Home Center's great store managers, Mr. Kurt Williges. When I started in my first job at age 16, Mr. Williges was one of the store managers that I worked under. He was known as one of the managers that didn't take any crap, but we all thought he was a good guy too, and he kept things running smoothly. I remember thinking that if I become a manager one day, I'd like to be alot like Mr. Williges. I eventually left Rickel Home Center for a couple years, and later when I applied to work at Rickel again, I was told that I got the job based on a recommendation from Mr. Williges who was still currently working there. While getting together with some old friends from Rickel this evening, we started reminiscing about the old days and he came up in conversation. We were really sad when we did a Google search and found this page saying that he had passed away a few years ago. We have fond memories of those old days working at Rickel and working with Kurt Williges. I'm sorry to hear that he is no longer with us, and I send my condolences to his family.
