It was quite a shock to learn of our friend's passing. We'll always remember Tommy as a fun, generous guy who was interested in everything and everyone. He and Lorraine were so nice to us Southerners when we lived in New Jersey & we continued our friendship after we moved.
Tommy will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Was very sorry to hear about Tommy. I remember when you first started going together and how happy you were then, and glad that happiness lasted for all these years. I send my heartfelt condolences to you and yours.

To the Sehrt family:
So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We were friends of his that knew him as "Sneaker Tom". On occassion we would see him down in the town of Branchville. He was always witty and had a beautiful smile.

Tom will be dearly missed at New Orleans Steak House. He had many friends there and would stop to say hello and brighten our days. We will always remember him for his smile and friendly nature. My sincere condolences go out to his family. Tom was taken from this world much too soon, but the impression he left on all of us will last a lifetime.

i would like to share with you a memory i had with my pop-pop. not too long ago, I was at my pop-pop's house when I found his tractor. When pop-pop came out to cut the grass I asked, can I help? Grandpa said sure its a one searter but you and me could fix that together. We cleared a platform for me to sit and we were on our way. Although it was a noisy ride and we could not hear anything we had a special time together. We are all going to miss my pop-pop and his crack-up jokes but he will always be with us in our hearts.

I remember Tom to be a very warm and happy man. He was very compassionate and was not only sympathetic towards people that were suffering; he was also empathetic as well. I remember Tom the most as being totally enamoured by his wife, Lorraine... probably why he was so jovial, I think she made him happy.... he always had the look of adoration in his eyes when looking at her. My heart goes out to Lorraine, as well as Monica and Jay and their children.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
