Mrs. Meade, Barbara, & Aileen,
I was very saddened to hear of your dad's passing! My mom & I were just saying how we hadn't seen him at Home Depot in a while...he would always take the time to 'catch up'--tell me the news on all the grandkids and then we would each be on our way. Marge and Family,
Linda and I were so saddened to hear of Walter's passing. I'm sure that words will do little to ease the pain of your loss, but I'm glad we had the opportunity to "reconnect" over the last year. It was good to be with "old" friends. Walt was one of the nicest men I have had the privilege to call my friend. I can still hear him say: "Hey Babes, want a beer?" We pray that God grant you and yours the strenght and serenity in this most difficult time. You are forever in our hearts.

Dear Walter will be sorely missed. My recall of him is from gatherings of family. If you did not find him in the mix of conversation you could most definitely find him in the perimeter maybe in a corner quietly and joyfully observing everyone around him.
His loving bond with his family and dear friends was always obvious to me.
The gift of his life is in the lovely family he helped build and will continue in grow ....a gift he leaves behind and a gift he takes along. Nothing is more meaningful than that!

Uncle Buck, That is what we will remember, your bravery and your love. That caring wise and watchful eye, which now peers at us from above. What I think first when I think about Walter: Always with a smile on his face and a gentle hand reaching out to touch you. A simple touch on your arm or shoulder to let you know he cared. A man of few words but with great memories of family and loved ones that he willing shared with you. Walter is missed already and loved deeply. He has joined the "GREAT CREW" who watche over ALL of us !!!
