Obituary of Walter S. Meade

Beloved husband, father, "Pops" and brother Walter S. Meade Jr. of the Ledgewood section of Roxbury died Tuesday January 13 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 68 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Meade resided in Rockaway for 25 years prior to moving to Ledgewood 11 years ago. After retiring from his position as Vice President for First Fidelity Bank in Newark, Mr. Meade was employed at the Home Depot in Dover. He was a passionate New York Giants fan and participated in bowling leagues at Rockaway Lanes. Loving husband of Marge, beloved father of Barbara Cotreau and her husband Daniel, Aileen Cobb and her husband, David and the late Walter James, Adoring "Pops" of Daniel Walter, Nicholas, Dylan and Tyler, dear brother of Patricia Brown, beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
