We are praying for your family in this time of deep loss. We went to HS with John and also played little league and HS sports with him and were very sad to hear about the great loss of John. Every time I watched this I would remember texting back and forth during the episodes....

You were the son I never had. We had so many great times together. I especially loved golfing with you and we always enjoyed when you came to visit us in Delaware. We are and have always been proud of you from the funny, spunky boy you were to the loving, caring, giving man you became.

I knew John for years when we first started working at Verizon. We played on the VZW softball team together and made it to championships a few times. Not sure if the team had more fun during the games or afterward for our burgers and drinks. I will miss his sense of competition, humor and good natured outlook on life. John and I worked together for 10 years at VZW, more than half of those years side by side. During football season when his Bears beat my Cowboys he would let me hear about it for about 5 years straight. We hung out, even went shopping toghether, but he would never listen when I told him NOT to buy those hula girl golf pants!!!!! (lol) John I will miss you (RIP).

I never met John but a few years back we spoke almost everyday when he worked at VZW in Maryland. I was a customer and he was my liason. We also talked about the rival between the Yanks and Red Soxs.
