My sympathy to the family. Joe and I were fireman together in Lake Hopatcong. I joined when he was chief, and I learned a lot from him. He was a good friend.
My prayers are with your family at this difficult time. (I believe Lynn and I were classmates at Sparta High School, and I have many fond memories with her while working at Interpace in Parsippany in the early 70's together.) God Bless.
