Joseph J. Sacco, Sr. of Fort Lauderdale FL (formerly of Hopatcong) died Thursday August 28, 2008 at Vitas Healthcare, Lauderdale Lakes, FL. He was 80. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Hopatcong before moving to Fort Lauderdale 15 years ago. He was a technical writer for Sperry Univac in Dayton NJ before retiring in 1992. A WW II Army veteran, he was a NYU graduate who enjoyed golfing. Beloved husband of the late Julia F. (nee: Moeller). Devoted father of Joseph J. Jr., and his wife Daniella of Hopatcong, Lynn Donnelly of South Plainfield and Debra Dearborn and her husband Richard of Valrico FL. Dearest brother of Stephen of Orlando FL. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Dear companion of Katherine Curreri of Fort Lauderdale FL.
