I was so, so sorry to hear about Penny. I, too, caught up with her at the MHS reunion and we had a blast- it was like the time had never passed when we lost touch. I am deeply saddened by this news- please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear John
I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how beautiful Penny's services were.
Jack and Madeline are precious. They are certainly a reflection of both you and Penny and the love you had for one another. You must be very proud of them and will continue to be proud of them as they grow.
I'd also like to add one of my fondest memories of Penny. Since the ramp for the church hadn't been completed and Uncle James refused to be carried in his wheelchair into church he waited in the car. After the ceremony and pictures Penny came over to greet him. Here she was in her beautiful white gown and white high heeled shoes walking over gravel and dirt to see him. He never forgot that and neither will I. The picture you gave us from the reception was also something he treasured, knowing you made a point of having it taken by the photographer.
Remember I'm only a call away and please don't neglect John.
Love
Aunt Jeanne

I too am a friend of Aunt Jeannie and would like to say how sorry I am. Jeannie has such wonderful stories to tell of Penny, one of the wedding and how thoughtful she was to her Uncle Jimmy brought a smile . Knowing you have many friends and family around should bring some comfort at this sad time.

Dear John and Family,
I was fortunate enough to work with Penny at BASF. I had lunch with her and a group of her pals on several occasions and it was always a treat. Penny had the incredible gift of laughter and, honestly, every time she joined us for lunch there was a point in time where we were all laughing hysterically over something she said. She truly was a bright light for me during that time and I am grateful to have had her be a part of my life. I will remember her as an intelligent, clever, generous, kind and caring person and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
With Deepest Sympathy,

To Penny's family-The first time I met Penny was when Randi was getting married. Through the years, I would run into Penny at mutual events that our children were at. The most recent was swimming lessons a few years back. I would see her out and about and we would always talk and catch up on our families. I became aware of her illness about 6 months ago. Penny, John, Jack, and Maddie have been in my thoughts and prayers since I found out. I can't imagine how difficult this has been. Please know that we send our sincere sympathy for all of you.
